Well--since Summer has passed us by and I haven't posted since May, I will try to update everyone on some of the highlights of our summer. In June we went on a vacation to Estes Park, Colorado. We had a family reunion with my mom's side of the family. Other than the plane ride (Garrett was not a very good flyer/lap child), the trip was a lot of fun. We did some hiking (or walking, really), some fishing and some boating.

We stayed close to home for July. Celebrated the 4th with Auntie Pam and Grandma and Grandpa Wissink. Logan really enjoyed the fireworks this year, which was a big change from last year--he watched one firework and then refused to watch any more.

In August we managed to get away for a couple of days to Monterey with the boys. We played on the beach and visited the aquarium. Both of the boys loved all of the ocean life on display. We also spent a day in San Francisco because Logan's T-ball team (the Jr. Giants) got to spend a morning at the Giant's stadium. We spent the afternoon on Fisherman's Warf and enjoyed the food and scenery. We had our 5 month ultrasound and found out we will be having another boy!! Still working on a name for son #3. Also, Grandpa and Grandma Pollard spent a week with us at the end of August. We tried to keep them busy chasing after the boys.

So far, September has been pretty quiet....

I think that about covers the highlights of our Summer.

Until next time..................

OK--so I am probably the worst blogger known to man. But, in my defense, I do have 2 boys (3 if you count Rob) to manage and they really do not give me much quiet time. So, lets see what has happened this year so far...

In March we celebrated Garrett's 1st Birthday -- Twice. We celebrated at Auntie Pam's house in Reno mid month and then again here in Riverbank at the end of the month. I don't know who enjoyed the celebrations more, Logan or Garrett. Cousin Addison and her parents got to come down for the celebration in Riverbank and it was fun to see the boys and Addison playing together.

The past couple of months we have been staying close to home, Rob is keeping busy with work and softball games 3 or 4 nights a week. I have been working and trying to keep the boys busy. Logan has been growing and also has started taking some soccer lessons on Saturdays (although his favorite thing to do at the soccer lessons is to run for a foot or two and then throw himself to the ground--but he appears to be having fun). Garrett has started taking a couple of steps and I think that he will be walking some time this month (whether or not he beats his cousin Addy, remains to be seen).

The only other big news in our lives is that we are pregnant---again. From the ultrasound today it appears that we will have a Christmas baby.(Yay--I will get the whole Christmas holiday off at work). So, Christmas this year will be busier than ever. I am going to try to scan and post the ultrasound pictures of Baby Pollard #3---we'll see what happens.
OK -- that took me about 1/2 hour but there it is--Baby #3--pretty cute already!!
